Human Resource ManagersHuman Resource Management is also known as personnel management that utilizes coherent or strategic approach to manage with employees. The human resource management manage company’s employees in such a way that they can individually or collectively able to contribute in the process of achieving various business objectives and goals set by organization. Job description of human resource manager has various responsibilities and interesting functions. In recent days the job of human resource manager becomes a specialized profession and requires high qualified personnel for positions.

Nature of Work

A human resource manger (HRM) responsible for implementation of polices in effective way within the organization. He/she has to be in constant in touch with employees of firm. He/she also stipulate different advices to staff, supervisors and provide them training on different aspects. Human resource manger also coordinates the process of recruitment and training. He/she also conduct an evaluation on annually or quarterly basis to review the performance of employees and facilitate the employees with necessary information about new policies of company.

Job Responsibilities

The human resource manager has clear understanding about the business objectives and organizational policies. He is able to provide guidelines to staff about company’s rules and regulations. The major job responsibilities of human resource manager are as follow:

  • SkillsThe basic responsibilities of human resource manager are recruiting and staffing. For hiring purpose he/she needs to keep in touch with local organizations, recruitment agencies and educational institutions etc.
  • Perform organizational and space planning. HR manager will be responsible for all matters related to employees and organization like staffing initiatives, career development, ethics at work place and performance management.
  • He is responsible for arrangement of suitable trainings, meetings and seminars for development of employees.
  • Human resource manager act as a bridge between top management and staff in order to provide smooth functioning of operations in organization.
  • He/she conduct orientation session for motivation of employees in order to familiarize them with goals and objectives of organization.
  • HR manager is responsible for data analysis and its collating, collection of HR metrics, data reporting and identification of new trends in human resource.
  • Responsible for planning, supervising and coordinating activities. Responsible for labor, compensation and employee relations.
  • In case of any industrial accidents in organization responsible for proper investigation and reporting.
  • Arrange and conduct exit interviews during termination and resignation of employees. In case of conflicts between two employees or any misbehave collect actual data for reporting and try to solve problem.
